About Us

The Rec Centre welcomes the whole community, including students and University staff, to improve their physical well-being through the use of the facilities and programmes offered at the centre.

The Rec Centre, established in 1988, is a division of U Leisure. U Leisure is a charitable organisation based on campus at the University of Waikato. U Leisure establishes and maintains facilities and services for the benefit of students and staff at the University of Waikato and the wider community.
