MS Group
Multiple sclerosis is an autoimmune condition in which the immune system attacks the central nervous system (CNS), leading to demyelination. It may cause numerous physical and mental symptoms, and often progresses to physical and cognitive disability.
Our mission as the provider of group and individual strength and conditioning programmes to the MS Waikato Trust is to promote physical abilities of our MS Group through the application of scientific training principles and by ensuring our commitment to the MS Group is second to none. Our team values reflect who we are as the MS Strength and Conditioning Team and this is reflected in our attitudes and everything we do.
Exercising when you have MS is hard. We make coming to the MS Group FUN and exercise is then just part of the process. As a result we are developing a culture of fun and experiences for our MS Group members on their every visit.
MS Group is held every Monday and Wednesday from 10.30am to 11.30am for further information please contact Liz Hogan at the MS Waikato Trust by email or phone 07 834 4741.
